If we go to the conceptual definition, Hope is an “optimistic state of mind based on the expectation of favorable results related to events or circumstances in one’s own life or the world as a whole.

According to the Bible, Hope refers to the trust of believers in the promises that God has given us.

Together with faith and charity, it is one of the three theological virtues (which mean the habits that God instills in the intelligence and in the will of man to order his actions to God himself).
